ARGAN OIL
Argan oil is the oil extracted from the seeds of the tree Argania spinosa, endemic in the South of Morocco. It is particularly appreciated for its nutritional and cosmetic proper-ties. In the cosmetics industry is also known as Moroccan oil. The Argan forest, whichonce covered large areas of North Africa, now extends to about 800,000 hectares in theSouth of Morocco. In 1998 Unesco declared the area of forests of Argania “BiosphereReserve”. Argan oil hair plays a moisturizing action from within and a protective actionfrom outside. Thanks to Argan oil the hair appears stronger, hydrated and shiny. Arganoil also is not greasy, the hair is perfectly clean, disciplined and with the right sheen.This wonderful oil consists of ingredients that keep the hair healthy with the appropriatenutrition.
PASSION FRUIT
The passion fruit, or maracujà belongs to Passifloraceae, native plants of Brazil andintroduced in several countries with tropical and subtropical climates. The skin is thick and robust, wrinkled when ripe; its color ranges from yellow to dark purple depending on the species. The flesh, abundant, gelatinous and perfumed, with a sweet-sour savor and rosy-yellow shades, contains numerous seeds: It has a strong resemblance to the pomegranate fruit. The passion fruit is composed of73% water, contains proteins, potassium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus as well as vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamins B2, B3 and B12, vitamin K and Beta-carotene. All these substances give nourishment and support to the hair.
RICE BRAN OIL
Rice bran oil is obtained from the outer covering of the rice grain and has a light golden color, it is appreciated for its emollient, moisturizing and protective power on the hair. Rice bran oil has a naturalprotective factor to UV rays. Its composition, perfectly balanced in Oleic, Linoleic Palmitic acids and vitamin E, makes a particularly suitable oil for scavenging free radicals and therefore cutaneous aging while stimulating the vital functions of the skin and hair cells.
MONGONGO OIL
The Mongongo tree, belongs to the Family Euphorbiaceae, native to Africa, in particular of the Kalaharidesert. This tree can reach 15 meters high, and takes the form of a tree with low branches. Grows onthe dunes of sandy soils and soils with gravel. The bark of the Mongongo is grey and often scaly. Theleaves, which are covered with a fine, downy hair fall into the dry season. These leaves are dark greenon top and creamy white on the underside. In October and November small pale flowers appear on the Mongongo tree.
The fruit, like a walnut, matures in May, and is mostly round, about 3.5 cm in diameter. The flesh iscovered by a skin of a pale green color and the kernels are surrounded by a fibrous shell, very hard andcoarse. The kernel contains the 38% to 60% of oil that was used since ancient times by African ruralcommunities and the fruit was considered a food staple. The oil extracted from Mongongo nuts are rich in linoleic acid (between 30% and 54%). Derivatives of linoleic acid are synthesized by our body and are part of the composition of our cellmembranes. Mongongo oil has emollient, regenerating and restructuring properties on the hair. Con-tains a special fatty alpha-Eleostearic acid which polymerizes to form a protective film on the hair. This protective film gives elasticity to the curl. Due to its high content of vitamin E, it performs a strongantioxidant and anti-aging action on the hair.
